Job summary

EMCOR Government Services in Redwood City, CA, seeks a Facility Asset Specialist to support Stanford Health Care through the COEAM, validating assets, capturing data, and helping develop maintenance programs with the CMMS team.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in Facility Operations/Management.
• Understanding of facility systems (envelope, electrical, mechanical, fire, plumbing).
• Knowledge of Condition Assessments.
• Blueprints: architectural/mechanical/electrical/fire life safety.
• Strong analytical/data collection/detail orientation.
• Clear vocal communicator.
• Adapts to changing priorities and deadlines; travel on short notice.
• Willing to travel up to 75% in SF Bay Area.
• Proficient with basic computer skills.
• Experience with Excel.
• Experience with Word.
• Self-directed learner.
• Able to use mobile devices and apps.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility asset validations at Stanford Health Care sites.
• Collect asset data, document conditions and label assets.
• Collaborate with CMMS team to configure and implement software changes.
• Reconcile data and physical inventory discrepancies.
• Assist asset management: PM schedule adjustments, asset naming/disposition, job plans, safety plans, asset labeling.
• Perform quality reviews of assets and maintenance programs.
• Help develop asset reports and dashboards with CMMS team.
• Provide and review asset and maintenance reports with site staff.
• Adopt industry maintenance standards (NFPA, NETA, ASHRAE, RPSS, GSA, RS Means).
• Work independently from the office.
