Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead for DC Operations to guide Lean thinking across our distribution centers. You will influence OE analysts, DC managers, and other leaders, and you will personally lead and execute improvement projects to drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in continuous improvement, data analysis, and project management, with a Bachelor's degree and Lean/Six Sigma experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years in continuous improvement, data analysis, and/or project management.
• Preference for Lean, Six Sigma, or other OpEx frameworks.
• Experience in field operations at an industrial distribution business is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Align key metrics with DC leadership and drive action.
• Manage projects and analytical resources; track progress daily/weekly/monthly.
• Analyze transactional data to identify improvement opportunities and root causes.
• Coach OE Analysts and lead cross-functional change initiatives.
• Lead site and regional leaders toward consistent results.
• Communicate project progress to senior management.
• Provide thought leadership on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost improvements.
