Job summary

New York Junior Tennis & Learning (NYJTL) is seeking a Compliance Operations & Data Specialist to support the Talent Acquisition & Compliance department. You will manage data, spreadsheets, staff records, reports, and internal systems, ensuring accuracy, identifying gaps, and improving reporting workflows.

Strong Excel and data management skills are essential. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and able to handle confidential information while reporting to the Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in compliance, operations, data tracking, administration, onboarding, HR, or related field preferred.
• Strong Excel skills including sorting, filtering, formulas, and data cleanup.

Responsibilities

• Manage spreadsheets, trackers, databases, and staff records.
• Organize, clean, reconcile, and validate data across multiple systems.
• Maintain and review employee and applicant information in ADP and other systems.
• Identify missing, duplicate, inaccurate, or overdue information.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and status updates.
• Use Excel formulas, lookups, PivotTables, filters, and other tools to manage large data sets.
• Improve tracking tools, reporting templates, and workflow processes.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical records.
• Track staff clearances, background checks, onboarding documents, certifications, and deadlines.
