Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Compensation Analyst to help develop and analyze compensation programs that support our talent strategy. This role ensures market competitiveness, internal equity, and compliance with pay regulations while partnering with HR, Finance, and the Compensation Manager.

You will evaluate jobs, conduct market analyses, and provide data-driven recommendations on salary structures, incentive plans, and compensation policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance or related field.
• CCP or SHRM-CP/PHR certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of compensation or finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and analyzing compensation programs to support talent strategy.
• Ensure compliance with pay regulations (federal, state, local).
• Provide compensation guidance for offers, promotions, transfers, and retention.
• Audit compensation data for accuracy and identify trends or discrepancies.
• Participate in compensation surveys and maintain vendor relationships.
• Help administer annual merit and incentive programs.
