Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions in Columbus, OH is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support the design, administration, and analysis of compensation programs. The ideal candidate will handle compensation data, market pricing, and salary benchmarking with strong Excel skills and HRIS experience.

You will develop salary structures, participate in annual merit and planning processes, and prepare reports for HR and leadership.

Qualifications

2+ years of compensation, HR analytics, HRIS, finance, or related analytical experience.
Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
Familiarity with HRIS and compensation systems.

Responsibilities

Analyze compensation data to support competitive and equitable pay practices across the organization.
Conduct market pricing and salary benchmarking using compensation surveys and external market data.
Assist with the development and maintenance of salary structures, job grades, and compensation guidelines.
Participate in annual compensation processes, including merit increases, bonuses, and salary planning.
Evaluate new and existing positions to determine appropriate job classifications, salary ranges, and internal alignment.
Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, and analyses for HR and business leadership.
