Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking an entry-level data analyst to support data reporting and forecasting activities under direct supervision. This role involves routine assignments and collaboration with teams to improve processes.

Key tasks include assisting with forecasting tools, data analysis, and preparing materials for audits, with some travel may be required. Strong Excel/Access skills and healthcare knowledge are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in operational role.
• Healthcare knowledge preferred.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).

Responsibilities

• Review and follow-up on data reporting for internal and external sources; identify business needs.
• Assist in creating forecasting tools using Access, Excel, Monarch, etc.
• Participate in internal and external project workgroups.
• Support data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects, system fixes and enhancements.
