Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey seeks a Specialist, Business Systems Analyst I to independently analyze, translate and document business needs into clear requirements. This hybrid Newark, NJ, full-time role leads cross-functional teams and ensures solutions align with business strategy.

You will conduct elicitation sessions, create technical documents, support testing and go-live, and contribute to ROI analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 6-8 years of related information technology work experience, preferably in the health insurance industry.
• Experience in a lead role with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Analyze, understand, and translate business needs into requirements.
• Coordinate teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Conduct requirements interviews with stakeholders and JAD sessions.
• Create technical documents and high-level solution designs.
• Provide systems support during testing and after go-live.
