Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey is seeking an entry-level team member to perform data research and root cause analysis under supervision. You will assist with new processes and solutions and help support data-driven decisions to improve efficiency.

The role emphasizes data reporting, forecasting tool development with Excel-based tools, and collaboration with cross-functional groups. Some travel may be required, and the company offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in an operational role.
• Knowledge of Healthcare industry preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
• Team player with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and follow-up on data reporting for internal and external sources; identify and communicate business needs as necessary.
• Assist in creating forecasting tools using current technology/systems (Access, Excel, Monarch, etc.).
• May participate in various internal and external project workgroups.
• May recommend solutions based on data analysis to increase business efficiency.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for projects, implementations, system fixes and enhancements, etc.
• May prepare materials for internal and external audit activities.
• Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by management.

About the Role

Under direct supervision performs research and root cause analysis for customers. Assists with recommendations and implementations for new processes and solutions. This is an entry level position performing routine assignments.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

Education/Experience:

Travel:

Salary Range:

$56,200 - $75,285

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. This range has been created in good faith based on information known to Horizon at the time of posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case.
