Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is seeking a Quality Control - Assembly Quality Line Inspector Assistant Manager to lead the quality team responsible for completed vehicles. You will plan, coordinate, and drive quality activities to meet production goals.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years’ related experience, preferably with supervisory exposure in auto manufacturing and new model launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in auto manufacturing and new model launches.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and direct the team activities for quality control of completed vehicles.
• Drive quality improvement through specialized processes and abnormality management.
• Analyze quality indicators to drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and HRD.
• Investigate quality issues to determine root cause.
• Ensure inspection of materials, products, and equipment to detect defects.
• Coordinate external events and participate in new vehicle projects.
