Job summary

Acceleration Academies, LLC seeks an Academic Support Coach to drive student success for Graduation Candidates through data-driven planning and targeted intervention. You will guide instructional improvements, support MTSS-aligned practices, and help implement the Continuous Improvement Plan.

The role is temporary, full-time, and grant-funded; employment depends on grant allocations and yearly funding. Strong collaboration with staff and families is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Valid South Carolina secondary educator credential required.
• Minimum 5 years teaching or educational leadership experience.
• Experience with academic coaching, intervention strategies, and student success planning.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, LMS, SIS, and mobile technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Academy Director with developing and implementing the SDE Continuous Improvement Plan.
• Analyze student performance data and track improvement strategies.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for plan submissions.
• Coordinate assessments and process results for planning and intervention.
• Facilitate MTSS-aligned data meetings with instructional staff.
• Monitor academic performance and assessment completion among Graduation Candidates.
• Develop individualized academic and graduation plans.
• Provide regular updates on student status and outcomes.
