As an Academic Support Coach, you will support the academic and personal success of our Graduation Candidates (GCs) through data-driven planning, targeted intervention, and collaborative leadership. Your expertise will support instructional improvements, guide student support strategies, and drive the successful implementation of our Continuous Improvement Plan.
This position is temporary, full-time and grant-funded. Employment is contingent on the yearly categorical allocation from grant funds.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
Licensure: Valid Secondary South Carolina Educator Credential (required)
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in teaching or educational leadership
Skills: Experience with academic coaching, intervention strategies, and student success planning
Passion: A genuine commitment to supporting students who have disengaged from traditional schooling and a drive to help them succeed.
Technology: Proficiency in Google Workspace, LMS, SIS, and mobile technology
