Job summary

Riverland Community College in Austin, Minnesota, seeks an Academic Scheduling Coordinator to manage the college’s academic scheduling and space management systems, ensure data integrity with the student information system, and support instructional planning and space optimization.

You will collaborate with academic leadership and campus stakeholders to resolve conflicts, analyze utilization, and produce reliable reports that inform scheduling decisions and institutional effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with complex records systems and interactive technology, including queries and scheduling.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Annual Academic Scheduling: manage classes, exams, and spaces; ensure data integration across systems.
• Space Assignment & Utilization: oversee space usage, monitor availability, resolve conflicts.
• Strategic, Data Informed Scheduling: use data to improve course availability and alignment with goals.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: provide reports to leadership for planning and allocation.
• Location Inventory & Database Maintenance: maintain records of all locations and update systems.
