Job summary

Harlem Children's Zone, based in Central Harlem, seeks a dedicated educator-leader to coordinate curriculum and professional growth for Promise Academy staff. You will support alignment of curriculum across grade levels, work with administrators, and help implement instructional resources to drive student success.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the network and Central Office, with a focus on data-driven decisions and program evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Ability to plan and oversee a work plan and project with a team.
• Acute attention to detail with strong record-keeping.
• Willingness to work autonomously or under senior staff guidance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and articulate the network curriculum across grade levels.
• Align curriculum and instruction between the network and schools.
• Monitor and evaluate processes using project management insights.
• Plan professional development and growth programs for Promise Academy staff.
• Consult with administrators on instructional resources and needs.
• Support network personnel as designated by leadership.
• Coordinate and innovate the network's summer program.
• Assist Special Education with mandated services and state invoicing.
• Collaborate with Central Office to maintain bi-monthly invoices and funding.
• Leverage data analytics to inform instructional strategies and track student progress.
