Harlem Children’s Zone Inc. seeks a Managing Director of Teaching and Learning to lead the network instructional program for HCZ Promise Academy and surrounding schools in Central Harlem.

You will drive high-quality instruction, use data to guide decisions, and collaborate with families and the community to advance student outcomes. The role oversees curriculum, assessment, and staff development, aligns programs with NY Learning Standards, and coordinates budget elements related to curriculum

Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree in related area (e.g., Curriculum and Instruction, Administration and Supervision).
• Minimum of 5 years of administrative/leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of NY Learning Standards.
• Extensive experience in curriculum development and MTSS/RTI.
• Must be able to demonstrate successful administrative experience.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate instructional program ensuring NY Learning Standards alignment.
• Design and implement curriculum review processes using multiple data measures.
• Oversee integration of instructional programs across K-12 articulation.
• Organize network curriculum meetings with staff and groups.
• Coordinate network Extended Learning Programs.
• Oversee curriculum-related technology integration.
• Supervise textbook and instructional media selection and adoption.
• Assist in budget development for curriculum and instruction.
