The Academy is seeking an integral member of the Governance & Assurance team to support the Head of Governance & Assurance, who is also the Trust's Data Protection Officer (DPO), in delivering information governance and data protection functions. The post-holder will contribute to the wider governance agenda and work flexibly within a diverse team.

This role coordinates GDPR activities, supports Academy Data Protection Leads, and ensures statutory compliance, with responsibilities including

An integral member of the Governance & Assurance team, the post-holder will support the Head of Governance & Assurance, who is also the Trust's Data Protection Officer (DPO), in the delivery of the Trust's information governance and data protection functions. The role is responsible for coordinating and administering the Trust's GDPR and information governance activities, supporting Academy Data Protection Leads and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The post-holder will contribute to the wider Governance & Assurance function through the provision of compliance reporting, governance information, records management and stakeholder support.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a flexible and collegiate approach to working, and be a competent user of Microsoft Office.
