Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Data Collection Lab Manager (Shift Leader) to lead our client’s on-site data collection operations. You will own lab processes, systems, and the team to deliver high-quality data supporting model development.

This hands-on role requires building structure in ambiguous environments, improving systems over time, and leading teams with high standards and accountability. Strong leadership and operational problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Shift Leader experience in fast-moving or semi-structured environments.
• Strong interpersonal and people leadership skills.
• Comfortable using metrics, operational reporting, and process tracking to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day lab operations and ensure high-quality data delivery.
• Manage task rollout and retirement scheduling based on priorities.
• Establish and improve QA processes to maintain data quality standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement scalable process improvements.
• Oversee device and hardware management to keep lab operations running.
• Manage lab inventory including ordering, storage, and distribution.
• Maintain data custody, tracking, reporting, and issue investigation.
• Build and maintain operational systems, trackers, and documentation.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard data collection staff.
• Coach and develop Lab employees and lab leads.
• Foster ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement culture.
• Help define team structure and processes as needs evolve.
