Job summary

VARTEQ Inc. is seeking a hands-on Salesforce administrator to own the full Marketing stack, including Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Engagement, Personalization, and Marketing Intelligence.

You’ll ensure data flows are clean, fix integration failures, and enable Einstein to deliver measurable business value. The role focuses on data streams, identity resolution, segmentation, activation, and orchestration across platforms, with SQL transformations, CI/CD, sandbox governance, and strong cross-team

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce administration experience.
• Hands-on Data Cloud configuration experience.
• Marketing Cloud Engagement — advanced capabilities.
• Experience with Marketing Intelligence or MCI pipelines and connectors.

Responsibilities

• Own the full Salesforce marketing stack: Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Engagement, Personalization, and Marketing Intelligence.
• Ensure clean data flows, resolve integration failures, and optimize Einstein value.
• Manage data streams, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation pipelines.
• Oversee SQL transformations and CI/CD, sandbox management, and deployment governance.

Position Overview

What this role is

Hands-on technical admin role owning the full Salesforce marketing stack: Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud Engagement, Personalization (Interaction Studio), and Marketing Intelligence. You’ll keep data flowing cleanly, resolve integration failures before they escape, and make sure Einstein delivers actual business value.

What you’ll work on

• Data Cloud: data streams, identity resolution, segmentation, activation, deduplication, and ingestion pipelines
• Marketing Cloud: Automation Studio, Journey Builder, deliverability optimization and failure prevention
• Personalization: Decisioning, Recipes, Audiences, web tagging, real-time personalization end-to-end
• Marketing Intelligence: data harmonization, connector and API issues, classification rules, dashboard accuracy
• SQL for data transformations that marketing can trust
• CI/CD, sandbox management, and deployment governance

What you need

• 4+ years of Salesforce administration experience
• Hands-on Data Cloud configuration experience (not just awareness)
• Marketing Cloud Engagement — beyond basics
• Marketing Intelligence or MCI — ingestion pipelines and connectorsAPI integrations and multi-system debugging

Nice to have: GA4, BigQuery, Snowflake, reverse ETL tools, Salesforce certifications (Data Cloud Consultant, MC Admin, MC Personalization AP)

What this role is not

Sales Cloud or CRM admin work — two dedicated admins already own that. This is not an entry-level or ticket‑taking support position.
