Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL seeks a seasoned Senior Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a major data centre infrastructure project in Northumberland. You will oversee site teams, subcontractors, safety, quality and programme, coordinating across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical interfaces.

You will manage planning, look-ahead programmes, RAMS and permits, ensuring works are on time and within budget, while liaising with the Project Manager, client and engineering teams

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Construction Manager on large-scale projects.
• Experience managing complex construction packages and multiple subcontractors.
• Data centre or mission-critical infrastructure experience is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction delivery across designated project areas and work packages.
• Manage and coordinate Site Managers, engineers, subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to specification.
• Coordinate civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical interfaces.
• Monitor programme performance and implement recovery plans where required.
• Lead construction planning, sequencing and short-term look-ahead programmes.
• Manage subcontractor performance, productivity and site coordination.
• Ensure RAMS, permits, inspections and quality requirements are fully implemented.
• Identify and resolve technical, programme and construction issues.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, client, consultants, commercial and engineering teams.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover and project close-out.
