Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead data center projects in the Richmond, VA area. Qualifications

• Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as a General Contractor
• Experience managing project budgets and schedules
• Licensed journeyman electrician and supervisory experience a plus
• Knowledge of electrical trade practices, blueprints, and specs
• Strong client relationship and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with vendors and contractors
• Travel to project sites as needed (regional scope)

Responsibilities

• Lead data center construction projects from cradle to grave including estimates and procurement
• Manage budgets, change orders, and scheduling to meet design standards
• Oversee on-site supervision and coordination with contractors and vendors
• Prepare project plans, timelines, and resource allocations
• Maintain logs and documentation for project progress
• Interface with clients and internal stakeholders at project meetings
• Ensure safety standards and OSHA compliance on job sites
