Job summary
Garratt-Callahan is seeking a Water Treatment Chemical Service Technician for Data Centers in Reno, Nevada. You will work at customer sites, performing water testing and treatment to keep cooling towers efficient and compliant.
The role includes on-site responsibilities, training, and competitive benefits. First-year base pay ranges from $75,000 to $85,000; a car allowance and comprehensive health coverage are provided based on experience.
Qualifications
- High school degree required; technical degree preferred (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Water Resources).
- Experience or interest in learning advanced water treatment technologies; able to follow safety protocols.
- Live in or near Reno and familiar with the industrial marketplace; willingness to travel to data centers.
Responsibilities
- Solve customers' water problems at data centers and test water quality onsite.
- Treat cooling towers to maintain energy efficiency and environmental responsibility.
- Perform detailed lab work and analyses; support KPIs and provide data center solutions.
- Report to the District Manager and help keep customers safe and satisfied.
