Job summary

Garratt-Callahan seeks a Water Treatment Construction Technician to support data center projects nationwide, with emphasis on Indianapolis, IN. You will manage water treatment systems, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and deliver on-site startup and training.

The role requires a 4-year science degree, 1 year in industrial water treatment, strong Office skills, and ability to travel 30–40% of the time.

Qualifications

• 4-year technical degree in sciences required.
• 1 year of experience in industrial chemical water treatment.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs.
• Able to read PIDs and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Works with consultants, architects and mechanical contractors to complete data center water treatment projects.
• Develops and maintains relationships with client engineers and operating personnel.
• Attends customer sync meetings.
• Assists Construction Manager with client submittals, drawings and proposals.
• Provides recommendations and assists in installation, sale and servicing of water treatment systems.
• Provides technical and start-up training to clients and employees.
