Job summary

Garratt-Callahan Co. seeks a Chemical Service Technician for Data Centers in Houston, TX. You will support water treatment projects at data centers in Texas and Louisiana, perform lab work, tighten system assets, and troubleshoot equipment to protect cooling towers and boilers.

The role requires a 4-year technical degree (preferred), willingness to travel overnight, and the ability to lift 50 pounds in PPE. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• A 4-year technical degree in the sciences is preferred.
• Experience or interest in learning advanced water treatment technologies.
• Detail-oriented, safety conscious, able to lift 50 pounds in PPE.
• One-year technical sales or internship related to water treatment chemicals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support water treatment related construction and installation projects at Data Centers in Texas and Louisiana.
• Solve customer water treatment concerns, perform water treatment lab work, commission new piping and system assets, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Treat industrial cooling towers to keep them energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
• Perform detailed water testing & analyses at data centers and other customers.
• Help deliver on customer KPIs and promote Garratt-Callahan solutions including proprietary chemical blends, equipment, & monitoring technology.
• Keep our existing customers happy and safe.
• Overnight Travel is involved.
