Job summary

Garratt-Callahan is seeking a Water Treatment Chemical Service Technician to work at a data center in Kansas City, MO. You will solve customer water problems, perform extensive lab work, and troubleshoot water treatment equipment at a large data facility.

The role includes treating cooling towers, conducting analyses, and delivering on KPIs while promoting proprietary chemistries, equipment, and monitoring technology.

Qualifications

• A four-year technical degree in the sciences is required.
• Technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Paper Science, or Water Resources.
• Experience or interest in learning advanced water treatment technologies.
• Detail-oriented, adhere to safety protocols, able to lift 50 pounds with PPE.
• One year technical sales or internship related to water treatment preferred; training available.
• Must live in or near Kansas City and be familiar with the industrial marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Solve customers' water problems.
• Treat industrial cooling towers to keep them energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
• Perform detailed water testing & analyses at a data center.
• Help deliver on customer KPIs and promote proprietary chemical blends, equipment, & monitoring technology.
• Reports directly to the Site Manager.
• Keep our existing customers happy and safe.
