Our primary goal is the operation and maintenance of the greenest, most efficient data center technology in the world. We have a highly robust and diverse IT infrastructure. Our team is on the front line ensuring the best possible experience for Yahoo users around the world.

A Lot About You

The data center team is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our world-class team. The best candidates will have experience working in a similar role with knowledge of supply chain and logistical best practices. Most importantly, you must be willing to do whatever it takes to make our team successful every day. You should enjoy being busy, active, and collaborating with people in various roles.

Your Day

• Coordinate, receive, and document deliveries, including UPS, FedEx packages, and multi-truck shipments requiring heavy equipment.
• Pack and ship equipment as needed.
• Use various systems for receipts, shipments, and inventory management.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean loading dock and staging area.
• Assess the condition of receipts and follow up on any damages.
• Order and stock office and breakroom supplies.

You Must Have

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to excel at your job.
• At least 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse roles.
• The ability to perform manual tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, and packaging tools.
• Familiarity with Google tools (Gmail, Docs, Forms).
• Basic Excel skills, including formulas.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
