Job Details Job Location: Long Island NY Office - Ronkonkoma, NY Salary Range: $18.00 - $24.00 Hourly Description

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our residential solar installation operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are accurately received, organized, and prepared for delivery to job sites. The ideal candidate is a team player with warehouse experience and a strong interest in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of solar panels, inverters, racking systems, and related equipment.
  • Accurately pick, stage, and load materials for residential installation crews according to project requirements and schedules.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, performing routine counts, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse space, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
  • Assist with unloading, labeling, and storing materials in designated locations.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • Coordinate with warehouse leads, installation teams, and logistics personnel to support project needs.
  • Follow company safety policies and comply with OSHA regulations at all times.
  • Perform general warehouse duties including packing, labeling, and minor equipment maintenance.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of warehouse, logistics, or materials handling experience (construction or solar industry experience is a plus).
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. and work in warehouse conditions including exposure to outdoor weather.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking systems.
  • Forklift certification a plus; must be willing to become certified if not already.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Team-oriented with effective communication skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
