Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Union Mechanic to support operation, inspection, and maintenance activities in a Data Center. You will collaborate with internal teams on complex maintenance and repairs, ensuring safety and efficiency of HVAC, boilers, and cooling systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, stairs/ladder climbing, and lifting 50 lbs+.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with a curious, inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal teams on complex maintenance and repair efforts.
• Perform inspections and repairs to interior and exterior areas, including HVAC units, boilers, cooling towers, etc.
• Review and assign work orders; directly complete ongoing preventive and repairs as needed.
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence; report on conditions affecting occupancy and operations.
• Complete Hazard Assessments; maintain compliance with ordinances, codes, or laws.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work.
• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
