Job summary

CBRE seeks a Union Engineer to maintain site equipment and calibrate instruments, joining the Engineering and Technical Services team. You’ll provide support, preventive maintenance, and repairs to equipment and systems.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, training, and sharing knowledge across disciplines, with leadership grounded in CBRE RISE values to build consensus and deliver dependable service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and restore routine technical service and equipment.
• Address major network problems affecting multiple locations; verify documentation.
• Maintain routine maintenance schedules and system configurations.
• Provide user training and create training documentation.
• Apply knowledge to complex assignments and propose innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information.
