Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Leader of Turnover, Startup & Commissioning to drive turnover, startup, energization and commissioning of AI Data Center projects across regions. You will set standards, define boundaries, and ensure readiness milestones aligned with schedules while leading cross-functional teams on complex systems.

You will oversee system walkdowns, punchlists, testing, documentation, and turnover packages, champion digital workflows, and mentor teams to elevate turnover performance across

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in turnover, startup, commissioning on data centers or similar.
• Strong knowledge of systems-based completion, turnover, startup, energization, and commissioning processes.
• Ability to read construction drawings including P&IDs and single-line diagrams.
• Willingness to travel and work across multiple project sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AIDC turnover, startup, and commissioning strategies, standards, and execution plans across projects and regions.
• Lead systemization, boundary development, turnover sequencing, and commissioning readiness planning.
• Provide leadership and technical oversight for construction completion, walkdowns, punchlists, testing, and commissioning.
• Establish clear readiness criteria and stage-gate requirements for progression through turnover and commissioning.
• Coordinate activities among Construction, Engineering, OEMs, trade partners, commissioning teams, and clients.
• Drive standardized turnover packages, commissioning documentation, workflows, and digital tools.
