Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Data Center Technician Trainer in the United States to develop, deliver, and maintain technical training programs ensuring technicians are ready to support operations.

You will onboard new staff, upskill existing teams, and standardize safety, compliance, and operational practices across sites, coordinating with site leadership and engineering to keep content accurate and scalable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a data center technician role.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, power, cooling).
• Familiarity with safety standards and compliance regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passionate about helping people learn and develop their skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instructor-led and hands-on training for new and existing data center staff.
• Create structured training materials, SOPs, checklists, labs, and assessments.
• Lead onboarding, cross-training, and refresher courses for operational readiness.
• Coach technicians on hardware installation, troubleshooting, and rack/stack methods.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and provide feedback to leadership.
