Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to support the deployment and operation of integrated data center thermal systems. This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role working with Engineering, R&D, Product Management, Quality, Field Service, and customers to resolve complex technical challenges and ensure reliable field operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Center Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in a technical engineering, customer support, field service, or solutions-focused role.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical systems and guiding customers through resolution.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to travel ~20% to Texas and Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical resource for integrated thermal systems
• Provide advanced technical support to customers, field teams, and service organizations
• Lead technical issue resolution for post-commissioning projects
• Troubleshoot cooling infrastructure including chilled-water systems, CDUs, and fluid networks
• Review electrical diagrams, piping drawings, engineering blueprints, and system architecture documentation
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and troubleshooting guides
• Mentor team members and contribute to continuous improvement
