Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in the United States is seeking a Senior Technical Lead for Post Silicon Validation to lead automation efforts in data center networks. You will design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate new silicon and product features.

Collaborate with engineering leads to translate test plans into robust tests, run validation in lab environments, and drive improvements in coverage and reporting through CI/CD pipelines and Linux-based tooling.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in test automation or software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation.
• Strong networking fundamentals (data center networks, TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for data center product validation.
• Execute network tests including traffic generation and switch validation in data center environments.
• Perform manual testing where automation is not yet available.
• Contribute to and reuse the automation framework.
• Translate test designs into robust automated test suites with engineers.
• Support test execution in lab environments for NPIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and reporting.
