Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking Data Center Technicians for its 12-month Work Based Learning Program (WBLP) in Oregon facilities. This trainee role requires reporting to a site location and involves 24/7 operations, safety certifications, and hands-on training across server racks, networking, and facilities systems.

You will join a diverse team and contribute to safe, reliable infrastructure while learning from experienced engineers, security specialists, and operations staff.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Willingness to participate in shift rotations to support 24/7 data center operations.
Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems.
Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager.
STEM classes or vocational course curriculum education may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Perform server rack installations and hardware fault-fixing.
Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents.
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Participate in scheduled maintenance and change management activities.
Complete the 12-month Work Based Learning Program training curriculum with safety certifications.
