Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Data Center Associate to load/unload freight, manage inventory, and assist with server rack assembly in our Aurora, IL datacenter. You will use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to install server racks and cabling, while maintaining safety standards and quality checks.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, basic computer skills, and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience required.
• Experience with computers is required.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound/outbound freight.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight.
• Execute inventory cycle counts and replenishment on site.
• Process return shipments using warehouse systems.
• Place server racks on the datacenter floor with accuracy.
• Install cabling into server racks following diagrams.
• Install rack hardware with hand/power tools.
• Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, stackers).
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following 5S standards.
• Lift and move materials as needed.
