Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA is seeking a Data Center Associate - Kitting A- Shift (Mon-Fri 6 AM-2:30 PM) to support material orders, inventory management and installation of servers and components in a datacenter environment. The role involves loading/unloading freight, conducting quality checks, performing cycle counts, and assembling cables in server racks with precision.

Qualifications

1-3 years of related experience.
Experience with computers and basic electrical safety knowledge.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug tests.

Responsibilities

Load and unload inbound/outbound freight to/from vehicles and containers.
Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight for correct part numbers and pristine condition.
Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for spare parts on site.
Process return shipments using multiple warehouse management systems.
Place server racks on the datacenter floor with accuracy using laser measures.
Populate components and install cabling into server racks following diagrams.
Install rack hardware with hand, power and measuring tools.
Operate material handling equipment (straddle stackers, rack movers, pallet jacks).
Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S standards; perform routine cleanup.
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to meet production goals.
