The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling skills, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Certifications and vendor knowledge are preferred, with on-call rotation and standard business
Qualifications
- 3+ years data center operations experience
- Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs in demanding environments
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- On-site, full-time role with on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment
- Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber)
- Execute hardware deployments and decommissions
- Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security)
- Respond to incidents and troubleshoot
- Maintain asset tracking and documentation
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams
- Participate in capacity planning and upgrades
