Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Ivel, United States is seeking a Data Center Technician to support critical infrastructure at world-class data center facilities. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on building, deploying, and maintaining reliable server and network environments.

Responsibilities include installing and configuring equipment, performing structured cabling (Cat6/6a, fiber), monitoring power and cooling, handling incidents, and maintaining precise documentation and asset tracking.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Expert cabling skills including Cat6/6a and fiber.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• On-call rotation availability.
• DCIM platforms familiarity and ITIL knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
• 3+ years data center operations experience.
