Job summary
Reboot Monkey in Clifton, TX is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our on-site team. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment in our world-class facilities, with standard business hours and on-call rotation.
Requirements include 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2), and excellent documentation. Certifications like CDCP/CDCS/CDCE and CCNA/JNCIA are preferred, with vendor and DCIM platform familiarity bonus.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years in data center operations.
- Expert cabling skills and knowledge of power distribution.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
- Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
- Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
- Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
- Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
- Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
- Shift to future-proof infrastructure and ensure uptime.
