Reboot Monkey in Garland, TX is seeking a Data Center Technician to support mission-critical infrastructure on-site. This full-time role installs, configures, and maintains server and network equipment within world-class data centers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in data center operations, strong cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2), and solid troubleshooting. Certifications such as CDCP/CDCS/CDCE, CCNA/JNCIA, and vendor certs are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data center operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of server and network equipment.
• Familiarity with cabling and power infrastructure.
• Data center certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
