Job summary

Siemens Mobility offers a SkillBridge internship for active duty military members to gain hands-on experience in data center projects in the Mt Pleasant area with daily on-site support. The program emphasizes diagnosing, repairing, and commissioning HVAC, building automation, and security systems while collaborating with internal teams.

Interns will work with field technicians, learn from engineers, and may join Siemens Mobility as a full team member upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• Active military personnel only; requires military approval for internship participation
• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical experience supporting mechanical, electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic, mechatronic, or related systems
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to interface with customers and collaborate with team members; on-site travel required
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Integrated Security system malfunctions and perform maintenance, repairs, or commissioning as needed
• Consult with internal engineering and management to resolve discrepancies
• Interface with customers; complete service work documentation and training materials
• Recommend system enhancements to create value-added partnerships
