Job summary

Siemens Mobility offers a SkillBridge Internship – Field Technician. This program provides hands-on diagnosis, repair, and installation work across HVAC/building automation, Fire/Life Safety, and Integrated Security systems. You’ll interact with customers, learn from engineers, and contribute to energy-saving solutions.

Open to active US military personnel with proper approval; pay is provided by the US military rather than Siemens, with potential for full-time opportunities after completion.

Qualifications

• Active military internship with military approval required.
• Selected candidates will be paid by the US Military, not Siemens.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical experience with mechanical/electrical/thermodynamic systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer interaction.
• Ability to work on-site and travel locally as needed.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to diagnose HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Security systems and perform repair or installation.
• Consult with internal engineering/management for discrepancies or issues.
• Interface with customers to complete service documentation, provide training guidance, and suggest system enhancements.
