Job summary

Siemens invites active-duty U.S. military personnel to participate as a SkillBridge Intern in Chantilly, VA. The Field Technician will diagnose and service HVAC/building automation, fire/life safety, or security systems, interfacing with customers to ensure efficient operation and energy savings.

The internship aims to provide hands-on experience, collaboration with engineering teams, and potential future opportunities within Siemens after successful completion, under the DoD SkillBridge program.

Qualifications

• Active military members eligible for DoD SkillBridge program.
• Selected candidates will be paid under their current military wage/benefits during internship.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC/building automation, fire/life safety, or security systems and perform maintenance, repair, or installation as needed.
• Consult with internal engineering/management on discrepancies and issues.
• Document service work, train customers for future ease‑of‑use, and suggest system enhancements.

Technical experience with HVAC/buildin

Education

High school diploma or GED

Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred
