Job summary

Siemens invites active-duty US military personnel to join a SkillBridge Internship, in collaboration with Vets2PM. As a Field Technician/Specialist, you will diagnose and repair HVAC, Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, and Security systems, gaining hands-on experience while supporting a sustainable, energy-efficient future.

You will work on-site, interact with customers, and collaborate with our engineers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical experience supporting mechanical, electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic, mechatronic, or other related systems.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written).
Demonstrated ability to interface with customers and collaborate with team members.
Ability to work on-site and travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

Meet with customers to diagnose HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Integrated Security system malfunctions and maintain, repair, or install equipment; commissioning if needed.
Consult with internal engineering and management for discrepancies or problems.
Interface with customers to complete service documentation, provide training instructions, and recommend system enhancements.
