Job summary

Mirapath, Inc. is seeking motivated Data Center Technician Interns to support installation and deployment projects in Ashburn, VA. This project-based role focuses on telecommunications, structured cabling, data centers, and hands-on technical work.

You will assist with installation and testing of cabling systems, ensure safety, and maintain quality on site. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 75 lb are required; drug and background screening will be completed.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in related field.
• Experience in Rack & stack.
• Experience in Cable dressing.
• Knows how to install wrapped‑around labels in the cable.
• Detailed communication‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation of low and high voltage cabling projects for clients.
• Cabling rough‑in and termination (all media types).
• Cabling testing and documentation (all media types).
• Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage cable systems.
• Work with Electrical, CAT 5e & 6 twisted pair, optical fiber, coax, etc.
• Create a positive experience and relationship with all customers through strong communication and outstanding customer service.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and requirements.
