Job summary

Mirapath in Minnesota is seeking a Data Center Technician to join our field services team. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain IT infrastructure inside customer data centers, collaborating with project managers and vendors to keep deployments on schedule.

The role requires hands-on hardware and networking experience, the ability to work day, swing, and night shifts, and travel to customer sites as needed. You will deliver reliable, customer-focused data center support and documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving server hardware and connectivity issues.
• Strong understanding of data center operations and basic server/network principles.
• Hands-on experience installing and supporting enterprise server and networking hardware.
• Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling, labeling, cable management, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, rack, stack, upgrade, move, and decommission servers and data center hardware.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot server, hardware, connectivity, and basic network issues.
• Install and manage fiber/copper cabling, labeling and testing.
• Maintain clean cable management and organized racks.
• Provide on-site and remote hands support for customers and teams.
• Coordinate with project managers and vendors to keep deployments on schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of work, tickets, and installation documents.
