Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers in the United States seeks a Data Center Technician to support the operational integrity of electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety systems, ensuring uptime for customers.

You will monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment, read blueprints, coordinate with contractors, and work with CF Ops Lead Technician to sustain maximum efficiency and safety across mechanical, electrical, and building monitoring systems.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining data center electrical and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with NFPA standards and NEC compliance.
• Ability to read schematics and diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develops approaches to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.
• Maintain cooling, electrical distribution, and fire life safety systems.
• Test performance of electromechanical assemblies.
• Inspect parts for defects and read blueprints.
• Coordinate with contractors for quality service.
• Ensure 24/7 data center availability and respond to abnormalities.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
