Job summary

Astreya is seeking a Data Center Technician II to assist with hardware installation into racks, asset tagging, cabling, and data center maintenance. The role involves documenting processes and server installations, with responsibilities including labeling devices and working within standard SOPs and security policies.

The position requires 2–5 years of related experience, strong English communication, and the ability to respond to on-call requests within one hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years of related experience or training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to respond to On-Call within 1 hour while on-call.
• Experience using ticket management systems and MS Office applications.
• Ability to cable systems (power/copper/fiber) per SOP standards.
• Familiarity with CAT5e/CAT6 copper, multi-mode and single-mode fiber.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, moving, and decommissioning hardware in the data center.
• Label devices, racks, and cables clearly.
• Use ticketing systems to communicate status and updates.
• Follow SOPs and safety policies while delivering quality work.
