Job summary

Astreya is hiring a Data Center Technician II to assist with hardware installation, cabling, asset tagging, and routine data center maintenance. You will document processes and support server deployments in a fast-paced environment.

Work under the Site Operations Supervisor, follow SOPs, safety and security policies, and provide clear, timely communications. On-call availability within 1 hour and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2–5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to respond to On-Call requests within 1 hour.
• Experience with ticketing systems and cable installations per SOP.
• Knowledge of data center cabling (copper/fiber) and topology.
• Comfort with lifting and moving equipment; able to learn software.

Responsibilities

• Install, move, and decommission hardware in the data center.
• Confirm and label devices, racks, and cables.
• Operate ticketing system and communicate with customers clearly.
• Follow SOPs, policies, safety, and security requirements.
• Other duties as assigned; not a comprehensive list.
