Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure in New Albany, Ohio. You will execute rack-and-stack tasks, structured cabling, equipment provisioning, testing, and operational support in line with Ericsson and customer standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in data center operations or related IT infrastructure, with wear-to-work readiness and strict attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• 1+ years in data center operations, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure support.
• Experience with data center hardware, racks, servers, and network devices.

Responsibilities

• Independently install and deploy servers, network devices, storage, and related infrastructure per design docs.
• Install, route and terminate copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling and cable management.
• Install PDUs, power connections, and verify power/management connectivity.
• Provision equipment, install hardware components, and configure OOB management connections.
• Perform testing and validation including continuity tests and fiber verification.
• Execute MACDs and FRU replacements following approved procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, inventory, and as-built documentation.
