Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a data center environment.
• Experience with server hardware and cabling.
• Basic Linux administration knowledge.
• Understanding of data center safety, security, and access control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot server hardware and connectivity issues and identify root causes.
• Install, replace, and upgrade server components and hardware.
• Coordinate return of defective parts to vendors per warranty/RMA.
• Perform server firmware upgrades and maintain current versions.
• Configure IP addresses and network settings on servers.
• Support network admins with server-related tasks and cabling work.
• Maintain documentation of installations and changes.
• Follow data center safety and procedures.
