Job summary

Google Inc. in Red Oak, TX is seeking an Operations Technician to install, configure, test, troubleshoot and maintain hardware and server software across Google's data center infrastructure.

Qualifications

Experience performing component-level repairs and troubleshooting on IT equipment.
Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting OS, server hardware, or networking protocols.
Ability to lift/move 50 lb and perform physical tasks.
Willingness to work non-standard hours including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across projects or functions.
Troubleshoot equipment or infrastructure following data center procedures.
Maintain data security and integrity per Google security standards.
Disassemble end-of-life equipment in a team setting.
Repair and perform preventative maintenance on servers and infrastructure.
